The Rangers practiced in advance of their Saturday game against Columbus, showing similar lines to Monday’s win. Flip Chytil was on the ice for the first time since being injured. The time of New York’s contest against Boston on Black Friday has been changed. Nash-Ty to have his jersey retired by the Blue Jackets. Autographed Fox jersey auction.

The lines in practice today are likely what we will see Saturday. The 2021-22 season version of KZB will at least start the game together. Whether they finish it depends on how they play. In addition, if Chytil is in the line, Alexis Lafreniere could be moved up to the top line in place of Blais, but more likely to have Laf-Chytil-Blais reunited with Barclay Goodrow moved back to the first trio, at least for now.
Chytil was on ice prior to practice for the first time since he was injured Saturday. If he practices tomorrow, I would give him a 25% chance of suiting up Saturday. If not, maybe he goes Sunday against New Jersey.
Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad, Sammy Blais Artemi Panarin, Ryan Strome, Kaapo Kakko Alexis Lafreniere, Barclay Goodrow, Julien Gauthier Dryden Hunt, Kevin Rooney, Ryan Reaves
If you were expecting the PP units to look different, so much for that idea. Chytil will replace Nils on the second unit when he is back. New York still fails to realize that both Panarin and Dib are adversely impacted by the placements because want the same spot by the left dot.
PP1- Fox, Panarin, Zib, Strome and Kreider
PP2- Trouba, Nils, Laf, Kakko and Blais
The Rangers and Bruins met several years ago on Black Friday. Same for Rangers-Flyers. The NHL clearly does not want to highlight the Blackhawks on national TV. Moving New York-Boston up and on ABC gives them a premiere matchup on national TV.
SCHEDULE UPDATE: The start time of our game vs. BOS on Nov. 26 has been moved up to 1 PM and will be broadcast on ABC.

You all know my view on Rick Nash. He didn’t end up being the scorer - save for one season - we all thought he would be when he was acquired from Columbus. But he became a 200-foot player who could be deployed in all situations. A well deserved honor for Nash. My only small criticism was that I wish the Blue Jackets were able to retire the jersey when facing the Rangers, but the last time the teams meet is on Thursday, January 27 and the game March 5 is on a Saturday night.

A friend of mine is auctioning off a signed Adam Fox jerseyto raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. My friend used to work with Fox's father, who got his son to autograph the jersey, so I can tell you that the autograph is authentic. Happy to answer any questions and please share the tweet with your colleagues
