Said Landeskog: “I think he’s going to want that one back. If you are able to bring the goalie over to one side and pass it back, Nate’s going to have an empty net, but I think Blake is going to want that one back and I don’t think he’s ever going to pass up a breakaway ever again.…
MacKinnon, by the way, has gone 14 games without a goal and has one goal in the past 23 games. Duchene leads the Avalanche with 16 goals even though he has one in the past 20 games.
The power play is 0-for-22 in the past nine games.
