Perreault close, but where's Little? (Wiinie[g)

Some good news is for the Jets is that Mathieu Perreault is now skating in a full contact jersey at practice but his return is not known yet. Simply put Perreault is a necessary player for the Jets to help with depth through the bottom six. His return will mean a tough decision for Paul Maurice as he will have to send some one down to the Moose. Should that some one be Kyle Connor, who is waiver exempt there might be blood on the streets, pitchforks and torches kind of fan angst.

The bigger issue though is the Jets need to start developing some offesnsive rate of play that pushed the puck towards the other end of the ice. The two games in Vegas and Glendale showed that the team still has either tactical issue or a line combination issue, perhaps both.

The obvious segue is that of the play, or lack thereof of Bryan Little. He's been silent and for some a bit absent from the Jets 's score sheet and production. Little is a key cog for this team and it's offense and he not producing is a hindrance to the team overall.

One idea from a twitter follower was to have Wheeler down with Little of move him up and drop Scheifele to play away from Wheeler.

Thoughts? What would you do?
