Quick hit update. Hearing Winnipeg isn't close to the suspected offer Montreal is working on for Laine...The deal, if it happens, won't be an offer sheet in the end, but a trade...The Jets aren't willing to go nearly as high or as many years...at this point.
I asked if there was any deadline in all of this, and both sides pointed towards the end of next week.
