As I reported earlier, Patrick Sharp is being looked closely at by the Habs...you can add Columbus, LA, and Washington to that list...So far, Chicago, who feels like a natural fit is NOT on the list according to two separate sources who believe the Hawks still are focused on Vamek..
On Oduya...
The Capitals, Penguins, and Blackhawks are the top candidates at this point I am told. One source says Johnny Oduya could quickly become one of the hottest commodities in this year's deadline..."It's hard to put value on a solid top four d-man who has so much playoff experience."
On Duchene....
I, and almost every other insider out there, has continually been citing how the price for Matt Duchene is unquestionably high...however, one source tells me he has gotten a sense the price may be dropping "just a little" as the deadline approaches...the Rangers and Sabres have both had more discussions on Duchene.
