The news now is the Olympic Committee is preparing postponement of the Summer games in Toyko this summer. This truly is the only course of action that makes any sense for Japan who has put tens of millions into the preparation for the games and the athletes who have trained their entire life for this event.
As for us fans of the NHL this is also good news. The likeliness is growing large that the NHL will be resuming in June and finishing off the season in July and August. And that decision for the NHL is much easier if NBC and CBC aren't in Japan...
