Pittsburgh kicked off their Western Canada swing with a regulation win against the Edmonton Oilers. No more Connor McDavid for the Penguins this year. They went 2-0 against the phenom and the only conclusion that we can draw from that is Sidney Crosby is better than him because his team won two games. Wait, that's now how that works?

Pittsburgh had an OK game as far as game flow. They weren't bleeding shots.
There were still some close calls that Matt Murray had to turn away like on this breakaway from Zack Kassian

The Penguins power play continues to produce. Patric Hornqvist had a nice tip goal coming off a Kris Letang shot from the point. Yes, you read that correctly. Kris Letang let it rip from the point. If #72 is going to be the net front guy you need to have shot volume for it to make sense. This is a prime example of that.
The Penguins have another game tonight. It will be against the Calgary Flames. It will be the second of back to back games.
