Coach Quinn post-game discusses Shattenkirk, Chytil, Lettieri, Andersson etc.
"We've got to protect each other, we've got to stand up for each other, we've got to support each other and we've got to do that from now until the day the season ends."

A few thoughts: 1) Shattenkirk assisted on both goals. He needs to shake off some rust but a solid first game back. I would look for 'Kirk to play two of the three remaining pre-season games.
2) Chytil gets better and better each game. The game seems to slow down for him and the skill level is always on display. I would be shocked if he doesn't break camp with the team.
3) Andersson had another solid game. He lacks the top-end talent of Chytil but works hard each and every shift. I also think he breaks camp with the parent club.
4) Holland and Lettieri both helped their chances to make the team. Each had a solid effort in the loss.
5) Vesey has not played well in either pre-season game he has suited up. I still hope he can get to the next level under this coach. But he has yet to show me much.
6) Zucc, making his preseason debut, can still really dish the puck.
7) Gilmour did not have a good game. I wouldn't be shocked if he is sent down in the next day or two. The same can be said for Crawley.
8) Quinn was impressed by Bigras. I expect him to start the year at Hartford but strong play could result in a cup of coffee for new York during the season.
9) Georgiev was pretty good again. Right now, if going by performance, I have him first, followed by Tokarski and Mazanec. But a decision likely won't come until after the final preseason game.
