The results are out and we are now been made aware of fan voting for NHL All-Star captains.
The captains are: Metropolitan Divison - Alex Ovechkin (Washington Capitals) Pacific Divison - Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers) Central Division - PK Subban (Nashville Predators) Atlantic Division -Steven Stamkos(Tampa Bay Lightning)

Alex Ovechkin has played 41 games so far in this season recording a grand total of 43 points (26G+17A) and is on pace for yet another 50 goal season. McDavid has 45 points (14G+31A) in 40 games, and this will be his second All-Star appearance. Steven Stamkos arguably one of league MVP's this season has 49 points (17G+32A) this season and will be one of the presumably many all-star hosts in Tampa. While P.K Subban is the only defencemen voted as one of the captains, 29 points in 39 games (9G+20A) so far this season and will represent Nashville in the hockey celebration.
The all-star weekend will be held in Tampa Bay from Jan. 27-28 and will include skills competitions and a 3-on-3 tournament.
