On defense, both Morgan Rielly and Jake Muzzin are 100% after spending significant stretches on injured reserve, and forward Ilya Mikheyev is fully recovered from a wrist laceration suffered in late December. The 25-year-old Russian had another impressive day at the Ford Performance Centre, scoring a hat trick in the club’s final inter-squad scrimmage. The big winger has looked very comfortable playing in a top-six role alongside John Tavares and was named the MVP of training camp with five goals.
