Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Ottawa! At this time of year, it’s impossible not to reflect on the year that’s been. When the calendar turned into 2020, nobody could have predicted this. The Senators’ season was cut short, usual events and celebrations have been altered, and many things in our lives have been permanently changed.
Amid all the uncertainty, I am reminded of and tremendously thankful for all of you. The time you spend on this site reading, commenting, and contributing your knowledge makes me a better blogger. The fact that you remain so engaged, despite the absence of Senators hockey for almost a year now, is nothing short of amazing.
With the World Junior Hockey Championship getting started today, and Senators hockey just a couple weeks away, there will finally be something consistent to talk about on here. Take the next few days to enjoy time and relax with your immediate families/bubbles, and let’s hope that 2021 delivers a return to normalcy.
As always, thanks for reading.
