Leafs cut down roster to 30 in preparation for playoffs, New Leafs Convo (maple leafs)

Be sure to like HockeyBuzz on facebook! For the latest Leafs updates or on Twitter The Toronto Maple Leafs narrowed their roster in preparation for entering the NHL bubble on Sunday to 30 players. The club entered Phase 3 (training camp) with 34 players and cut forwards Kenny Agostino, Adam Brooks, Tyler Gaudet and Egor Korshkov, and defensemen Mac Hollowell and Teemu Kivihalme, who were primarily members of the AHL Toronto Marlies last season.

The club’s roster consists of 16 forwards, 10 defensemen and four goaltenders, including injured winger Andreas Johnsson, who is not expected to be available until September after undergoing knee surgery in March.
