Gabriel Landeskog will be absent from the lineup again Thursday when the Avalanche play Boston in the second game of a four-game road trip.
Here are the GAME NOTES.
Landeskog participated in the morning skate after missing practice Wednesday because of illness, but he still hasn't taken part in contact and will sit out his 10th game with a lower-body injury.
"I think he's progressing every day, and it's just a matter of getting on the ice enough and keep testing that to make sure he's 100 percent when he comes back," coach Jared Bednar told reporters.
Tyson Barrie, Matt Duchene and Nathan MacKinnon also were ill Wednesday and didn't practice, but they're expected to play. So is Francois Beauchemin, who didn't practice because of a hand injury he sustained blocking a shot Tuesday in Nashville.
Defensemen Fedor Tyutin will play after missing two games with a lower-body injury. He'll replace Eric Gelinas.
Calvin Pickard will start for the Avalanche (9-14-1) who are 0-5-1 in the past six games.
The Bruins (15-10-2) are 4-0-2 in their past six games after losing 4-3 in overtime in Washington on Wednesday.
