I am sorry for the lateness of this blog, but there are so many discussions going on throughout the league....I have to remember to get them out to you...So I will be adding throughout the day and changing the update time and photos...
* The Isles and the Preds are heading into absolute MUST-WIN Weekends...You get the feeling if Nashville falls flat they could become a seller, and the Isles must at least keep pace....And beat the Penguins.
* The Dallas Stars have a ton of interest in the Flyer's JvR...The rumor is that the talented but inconsistent Gurianov could be the return.
* Kane and Toews decisions could come as early as Sunday I am told. There are some other deals that could be contingent on what they decide to do....Timo Meier is NOT in the same domino chain I am told.
* The Devils have a bit of an inside track with Timo Meier, as his agent is former Devils star Claude Lemieux. NJ is sometimes disrespected, but they won't be by Lemieux.
*The Penguins and Vegas are both looking at Jake Allen....both feel the need for a healthy goalie with experience..
* The Avalanche are considering Nick Bonino...He is not quite the #2 center they would like...but Monohan's weird injury recovery has them a little spooked.,
* The Capitals are up against it without Ovechkin. However, there is a real feeling they are prepared to step up right now. They are looking at D-men. They like Weeger from Calgary....who may be gotten for a steep price. Calgary is not too thrilled with his play.
*The Blues are asking a TON for O'Reilly...Carolina is the leading candidate but is considering alternate paths.
* There is a belief out there that the Coyotes have worked out a deal they like for Chychrun, but are given the other team the time to clear space with a separate move... That team may be Boston, Toronto, or Columbus...
