According to Hockeybuzz alum and still the best source on Russian Hockey, Aivis Kalnins, Ilya Kovalchuk‘s agent is saying Kovy will be signing with Avangard Omsk..
On the Return to Play......
NHL will have a Board of Governors meeting tomorrow at noon, followed by a GM meeting at 2pm. This is all great news, and I expect the GM meetings will be what the teams need to launch into the next trade and signing frenzy..
I am already hearing some talks heating up...stay tuned!
