Defenseman Mikey Anderson has been signed to a one-year deal!
Given how cheap the one-year deal is for Anderson, it seems like it may have been a bit of a missed opportunity to get a slightly longer bridge deal in place at a reasonable price. Anderson is set to be an important part of the defense group for the foreseeable future.
That said, the Kings are pressed close to the cap right now and you also canβt complain about getting a key defenseman locked up for $1 million, even if only for a year.
