Like the rest of the world, Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane awoke Monday morning to the news of the tragedy that occurred in Las Vegas in Sunday night. Many of us have family, friends and acquaintances who live near The Strip in Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Police Service, 50+ concert goers lost their lives while another 400+ country music fans were hospitalized with injuries.
Kane is a frequent flyer to Las Vegas. The Vancouver native recently attended the Floyd Mayweather versus Connor McGregor super-fight in August.

Kane is like hundreds of NHL players who like to visit Vegas. The NHL holds its season ending awards ceremony in Las Vegas.
Later this week, the Vegas Golden Knights will embark on their inaugural NHL season.
