Ever since Ron Hextall became Flyers general manager, the Flyers have become one of the NHL's most tight-lipped organizations. Have heard from other NHL sources, however, that there is interest from Philly in possibly reacquiring James van Riemsdyk.
It is no secret the team is looking for LW size and scoring. They are getting closer to being able to make "help the team now" move, and have a stocked farm system on defense and in goal as well as an array of picks if they do make a move for top-line scoring help. They have competition, though. Islanders, Avs, Nashville and New Jersey are also among the teams that I'm still hearing are pushing for JVR to varying degrees.
