The Islanders, after coming out flat in the first period, were lucky to go into the locker room tied at one but responded in a big way the second and third periods by shutting out the Flyers en route to a 3-1 victory. It was the just the Isles fifth win in their last 24 games at the Wells Fargo Center.

There are 30 games left for the Islanders. I think their magic number to secure a spot is 40 points, which would gave them 98. It's not impossible but need another streak like they have been on for the last 32 games.
