Last night we learned that Bruce Boudreau had been hired in Vancouver taking over for Travis Green.
Then came the news this morning that everyone had been anticipating, Alain Vigneault was let go in Philadelphia along with Michel Therrian and Mike Yeo was elevated to head coach with the interim tag.
Green had done all he could with the up and coming Canucks but when the expectations were elevated he was not the guy to take them forward. Boudreau once again steps unto a good position with a very talented squad. Expect things to turn around quickly with BB at the helm.
Yeo is in a different position as the Flyers seem to be in disarray following a decent run in the bubble two Summer back. They failed to make the playoffs last year and are currently riding an 8 game losing streak. They really need a locker room change much like the Wild just went through...
