With just two games left in the 2021-22 regular season, Florida has recalled a couple Checkers in order to give some regulars time off before the real party starts.

With Lundell and Gudas listed as “day-to-day, let the kids come up and give those other guys a few nights off to get fully healed (or as close to it as possible). Plus, I always like seeing the “kids… play and seeing how they have developed (if they have previous NHL experience) or if they’re getting their first look. Either way, it’s always exciting.
Speaking of healing…I’ve been so wrapped up in the Cats play as of late - minus the two recent losses - that Ekblad kind of fell off my radar. But seeing Bruno’s quote reminded me that we’ll be seeing him back in the lineup, though when that might exactly be is a bit ambiguous.
"I think he's trending. He's on the ice. There hasn't been any setback. Hopefully at some point in the first round we'll be able to see him. It'd be nice."
Phoning it in a bit these remaining blogs, but in all honesty, these next two games just feel like they’re so “long…. Meaning, I just want the playoffs to start but we have to get through OTT, MTL and round out the regular season first…
That’s not a knock against the Sens or Habs. Both OTT and MTL have caught Florida by surprise a couple times this year, but I’m just ready for regular season to be over. I wish we could fast forward these final games because…
WE JUST WANT THE PLAYOFFS ALREADY!
