We will be getting back to rumors tomorrow but as we all sit down to dinner tonight it is time to ask...What are YOU thankful for when it comes to hockey?
Here is my list...
#1. The best group of young stars EVER. The NHL has NEVER been more talented than it s right now and a vast majority of those stars are under 25 years of age...
#2. The best hockey viewing experience EVER. I grew up in a the 70s and 80s, and back then the only hockey you would see in general was your local team...now, I can watch any team on any night.
#3. That the "two-line pass penalty" will NEVER return.
#4. The hockey internet. When I was young the only hockey news beyond my home team came out once a week about stuff that happened two weeks ago in The Hockey News."
#5. The fact that playoff games will NEVER be decided in a shootout or be playing 3 v3. Epic playoff hockey overtimes are one of the top three moments in all of sports.
#6. The return of Rod Hockey...now known as Bubble Hockey
#7. More rinks and more chances for more kids to play than ever before...
#8. The Staff and Writers at Hockeybuzz and the NHL and their teams who allow us to be credentialed and cover this great sport..
#9. Outdoor games. I don't care how many there are....If you were ever in a city when one was happening...they are special.
#10. All of you who come here and take some time to read and comment on the sport we all love... You are all the best and I know how fortunate I am.
