A - Odds are slim to none that the Leafs pick up a defenseman via waivers that they would insert in the 6th spot, since it would be surprising that a blueliner of that quality would be on waivers. Signing Roman Polak or a trade are more likely possibilities, especially with the Leafs having such depth at forward. Teams like Calgary and St. Louis are reportedly looking for help on the wing and have good organizational depth on the defense.
