Golden Knights on goalie #4 (nhl)

The Vegas Golden Knights lost just their second game of the season on Monday, but in the course of their 6-3 loss to the New York Islanders, they also lost their third starting goalie.

With Stanley Cup winner Marc-Andre Fleury (concussion) and rookie Malcolm Subban (groin) already on injured reserve, the Golden Knights called up Oscar Dansk and Maxime Lagace from the AHL.

Dansk rose to the challenge and earned his first NHL shutout, but suffered a knee injury in Brooklyn and Lagace allowed four goals on 11 shots.

Vegas hastily recalled 19-year-old goalie Dylan Ferguson from Kamloops Blazers of the WHL to serve as backup for Lagace, who makes his first NHL start against the Rangers at MSG on Tuesday.

We will discuss this and Monday's results on the Buzzcast at 1:30.
