It now appears that Clarke MacArthur is done with hockey, and due to injuries we unfortunately never got to see his fullest potential, but when he was playing and in the line-up MacArthur was always one of my favorite players...and always had a flare for dramatic goals...from the 2005 WJC with Canada right up until his OT goal in last year's playoffs for Ottawa few players worked harder to play the game and few battled harder to get back when hurt...

Remember a few weeks ago when word was the Habs and Rangers were talking about a possible LARGE trade? Well according to a great NHL source it came "really super close to happening and would have shook both teams up as it was a major swap." Furthermore the source added, "It's not a dead deal yet either...Montreal and NY got sidetracked when it was apparent that the Duchene deal was about to happen...but the deal could be revived and includes a possible captain swap at the foundation..."
