Unburdening Myself
I have to get a few things off my chest.
First these on again, off again efforts are driving me (and probably all of you) crazy. Is it too much to expect a consistent effort on a nightly basis, let alone throughout an entire 60 minute game? I realize the boys are in the midst of a tough month of travel, but they can't let games get away from them like they did in Montreal.
There is no benefit to sitting Shea Theodore in favor Korbinian Holzer.
Clayton Stoner is a valuable asset to this team. I want him heal quickly so Bob Murray can send him to the grit-challenged Rangers for a useful wing.
Speaking of trades. The lack of Ducks logos on Ek's rumor chart lead me to believe that there are going to be some moves coming in the not too distant future. No way Murray stands pat much longer.
Jonathan Bernier is costing himself a big chunk of money and a possible starting gig in the NHL next season.
Ducks @ Sens
The Ducks are in Ottawa tonight to take on the Senators. This will be their last contest before Christmas break. John Gibson should be Randy Carlyle's starter in goal tonight. Otherwise, indications are that there won't be wholesale changes to the lineup.
