Friday night pix - 3 non-system plays!!(1 big play added) (nhl picks)

Last night 4-2 +2.30 Units YTD 165-140-3 +34.49 Units

It was nice to get back on the winning track last night. We got 7 games on tap for Friday night and we got plenty of teams in the West Division battling for the final playoff spot as AZ, STL, SJ and LA all faceoff. It will be interesting to see the battle of NY as the Rangers who are pushing to catch the Bruins for the 4th playoff spot take on the red hot NYI!

**I have started to research teams that come off at least a 5 game road trip and how they fare in their first game back home.** Its 8-6 to date.

Scenario #1 – Teams that are rested, either sitting at home or on the road while their opponent plays the night before. 18-7 over the last month of tracking it! Hitting at 74% rate! As well, the under is a nice 15-9-1 in these spots!

Scenario #2 – Teams that are playing each other in back to back games, in which the home team loses the first game, the record of the home team in the second game is 71-42. Hitting at 54% success rate.

Scenario #3 – Teams playing back to back road games on consecutive nights tend to go under the total in the 2nd game. So far that trend is 33-23-2 when teams play on the road back to back nights.

Scenario #4 - One last angle I am tracking that is slightly profitable and similar to Scenario #1, is when any team loses the first game of a back to back against the same team, regardless if it’s on the road or at home, those teams are 94-67 in that situation.

Quick stat updates - First period totals going over were 6-4 last night and are 283-327 on the season. Road teams were 8-2 last night and are 287-316 on the season. Game totals going over the total were 7-3 last night and are 284-297-20 on the season.

Gamenotes for tonight –

NYR/NYI – All 3 have gone under the total this season, with NYI winning 2 of 3.

Pens/Devils – Devils have won 2 of 3 this season and all 3 have gone under the total.

Caps/Sabres – Caps have won 5 of 6 this season but the Sabres are playing better hockey over their last 5 games.

Wild/Blues – These 2 teams have only met once this season with the Wild winning 2-0 at home.

Yotes/Knights – AZ playing their 6th game in 10 nights on the road. Vegas has lost 4 of their last 5. Knights have won 3 of 4 head to head with 3 of 4 going over the total.

Avs/Ducks – Avs have won 4 of 6 this season but the 2 games in Anaheim have been 1 goal games.

LA/SJ – LA won the first game of the year head to head, but the Sharks have won the last 4!

**No system plays tonight**

Non-system plays tonight –

NYR/NYI u5.5(+102)(1 Unit) Pens/Devils u6(even)(1 Unit) Minnesota - ML(-123)(2 Units) All signs point to Ville Husso starting in goal for the Blues, plus STL can't seem to win at home!

Good luck tonight!
