Well, last night was definitely one of those nights when you think you have teams figured out, plus teams in bad spots, and then it all falls apart! What a horrible night, where do I start?? Vegas rests Lehner and still beat the Wild. The Preds are playing their 6th game in 10 nights on the road and beat STL! Calgary has now come down to earth having lost 4 of their last 5 games. The NYI absolutely layed an egg on the road and is only playing one game during this 8 days stretch, go figure! Right now, you have to ride the hot teams and stay away from bad teams.
Let's see if we can find a winner or two tonight. Tread lightly! We have 3 teams playing back-to-back games consecutively on the road with Edmonton, Calgary, and Washington. So that means 3 teams are well rested while at home while their opponents played on the road. Buffalo, Toronto, and Columbus have all had great starts to the season too, give me all 3 home teams tonight, although I'm not big on the Sabres.
Caps have Pittsburgh on deck too, give me the Jackets in a nice dog spot. CLB hasn't played since Saturday night so they are well rested and have won 3 in a row plus 5-1 at home this season. Buffalo has lost 5 in a row, but off since Monday night. I hate playing a team on a bad losing streak but the system says play Buffalo. Oilers playing their 3rd game in 4 nights on the road. Calgary is struggling big time now, the Leafs are tough at home and rested in this spot. Both teams go under the total a lot too, keep in mind.
The Canes play back-to-back home games on consecutive nights then hit the road for 6 games. I can't figure out this Flyers team, Canes -180, I think I will pass. Hawks haven't played since Tuesday and they get the worst team in the league with AZ tonight, plus the Hawks don't play again until Wednesday night!
