What can you say about that marathon of a Game 1?
Awesome!
The high octane, back and forth action with two stellar goaltending performances locked in a seemingly endless battle was as good as it gets. It had the big time drama that close games have, complete with a heart-stopping recalled goal in OT…
The best part? It ended with a Florida victory.

I would expect some fatigue on both sides of the ice tonight. After all, it’s not often you play a little over two games in a single night just a mere day ago.
I also expect another close game. Both of these teams are far more similar to one another than I thought. The difference (edge) for the Cats could come down to staying out of the box — a recurring theme all postseason with this group. Carolina scored both of their goals on Thursday night while on the man advantage.
