The Islanders host the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at Barclays. New York has lost two straight games and are 12 points behind the second wild card.

Those were Cappy's words following a 4-2 lost against the Washington Capitals Tuesday. It was another game were the Islanders were tied heading into the third period. Eight of their 12 regulation losses have come when the game was tied in the third.
Cappy called out a few unnamed players but naturally he does not have the guts to sit those players as Anthony Beauvillier is once again a healthy scratch. Alan Quine will take his spot. Apparently Jason Chimera and Andrew Ladd are like George Constanza, who could not get fired from the Yankees no matter what he did. Both Ladd and Chimera failed to produce a shot attempt Tuesday night.
Back to Beauvillier for a second. The Isles should just return him to juniors. I know they burned the first year of his ELC but at least there he will play every game, since he is not doing it here.
