The Anaheim Ducks announced yesterday that they have signed defenseman, Josh Manson, to a four-year contract extension. The new deal, which kicks in next year, will have an AAV of $4.1 million.

The 25-year-old blueliner from Illinois was originally drafted by the Ducks in the sixth round, 160th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Since then he has played in 181 games over three seasons with Anaheim, recording 10 goals and 25 assists.
