According to Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register, the Anaheim Ducks have placed Scott Sabourin, Sam Carrick, Mike Liambas, Steve Oleksy, Corey Tropp on waivers.
It appears as though all of these moves are for the purpose of sending them down to the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League. However, there is always the chance that one of these individuals get scooped up by another franchise.
