Devils 622 Asks: What the Ek are the Devils going to bring in another goalie and who is going to replace Severson and likely Graves on defense? I’m sure Hughes will take some of the minutes but as a rookie he will need time to grow.
Ek: great Questions…The Devils are absolutely looking to upgrade in goal, despite the fact that Vanacek had such a great season. They have kicked tires on Connor Hellebuyck but that appears to not be working out. The recent news the Logan Thompson is available is extremely tempting. As for defense, I agree not to rush Hughes, but I think they feel they can bridge that gap.
Diabeticmik3 Asks: What the Ek are the sharks going to do with Karlsson? Where is he most likely to accept a trade to and what is the return? Any other rumors about the sharks.
Ek: they are moving him. No question The rumor I put out there was that they would move him to Ottawa hrough Chicago…to get them to take salary. Debrincat would move to Chicago. The Sharks are going to be hot in the rumors soon…I think they are waiting to se what they get at the draft…
Scott1977 Asks: What ek? Any rumors of what what the Chicago Blackhawks might be doing?
Ek: You gotta love what they are doing right now. Its not surprising. Never have we seen a team with the first pick overall go so aggressive, but they have cap space and are willing to make bold moves. They aren’t done at all. They are in on Konecny.
Prince LH Asks: Will we see William Nylander traded to the Flames or Capitals?
Ek: The Flames are a more likely of those two, however Seattle and the Islanders are offering more as of a conversation I had yesterday…I think he will be moved…probably not until after the draft, but who knows?
Bullethead7 Asks: What the Ek will the Leafs do with Matt Murray?
Ek: Yeh…don’t know that one. The rumors out there but management now is talking like they will give him another shot…probably because its the only option… Greenyone Asks: Where does P.Kane end up? Also is J.Toews done?
EK: I would look out for Florida with Kane. Maybe the isles. I truly hope Toews is back…I know Winnipeg will give him a chance.
Dahlmanyotes Asks: What the Ek are the coyotes plans with Nick Schmaltz? And what are they most likely to get for him? And where the ek would they be trading him to?
Ek: They are going to wait and see what teams need him as the UFA dust settles. There are not many quality UFA d-men. They will get something for him from a team that falls short on a UFA they target.
Mageejames40 asks: What the Ek is gonna happen with Carter Hart? Is Ivan Fedotov gonna ever play for Flyers?
Ek: Carter Hart is NOT going to be moved. The rumors were all just teams talking to the Flyers and the Flyers wanting to talk to more teams about other players…so not shutting them down. It feels like Fedotov wil
