* The Islanders Play the Penguins tonight in a Vital game for the Isles. Some VERY tough news today..They will not have Barzal for the foreseeable future as he is out with a lower body injury,, I would expect Lou to use that Cap space at the deadline…
* The Penguins will ghet back Tristen Jarry for the game. How he looks and how healthy he is will have HUGE implications over the next 11 days…
Lets look at the key trades deadline avails…
On Patrick Kane… I don’t think its a coincidence that Kane has 5 goals in the last two games. People were leaning away from him due to his “injury… and Kane let it be publicly known that the condition isn’t at the level of hindering… There are rumors that he only had the Rangers and the Leafs on his list..Both teams made big moves…I keep hearing the Knights, Devils, Stars and Bruins all have serious interest…also…don’t completely rule out the Rangers.
On Gavrikov…
This looks very much like a deal to the Bruins… Like the Chychrun deal, this is being delayed in until the team trading for the players figures out the space…
On Jake Allen… The Penguins are watching closely, but the favorite may be the LA Kings..
On Korpisalo… Vegas is VERY high on Jonas…Very good chance he goes there
On Barbashev… The Blues are still considering re-signing him. He Loves being a Blue..He could always be moved at the deadline and signed back in the summer. Teams interested include….Calgary, Dallas, Boston ……possibly NJ if Meier doesn’t go to the Devils……
