Erik Cernak will miss only 120 minutes of hockey
Ofiicials Tim Peel, Chris Schlenker, David Brisebois, and Derek Nansen failed to do their jobs. They should face discipline, too pic.twitter.com/7jFGKXHoVn
Rasmus Dahlin has a brain injury that was caused by the negligence and malice of Eric Cernak.
Dahlin will miss a considerable amount of time while Cernak will miss six period of hockey.
Where is the friggin' justice?!!
There is no justice in today's NHL.
The standard for discipline is not consistent.
There seems to be a sliding scale of justice.
Head hits are tolerated despite the league's "zero tolearnce" policy for targeting the cranium of the opponent.
The Department of Player Safety has issued yet another half-assed slap on the wrist to the perpetrator of a Rule 48 Violation. It's maddening.
DoPS has issued yet another half-assed slap on the wrist to the perpetrator of arn egegious Rule 48 Violation. It's maddening. When is DoPS going to stop their constant pablum puking about "making the game safe for ALL players"?

Bogus ruling by @NHLPlayerSafety Cernak deserves 5+ games for deliberately crushing Dahlin's face. Rule 48 violations are now only 2 game bans? Disgraceful https://t.co/mzaglmL6BB

The four on ice officials who were positioned mere feet away from this assault claimed to not have seen it. Such bullsh*t!
Ok, Tim Peel, Chris Schlenker, David Brisebois, and Derek Nansen. You failed to do your job to the letter of you job description on Monday night in Tampa so now you can hand over the game check you received for the Sabres at Tampa game. Don't bitch because you didn't earn the money. You four incompetent slugs allowed a depth D pylon to injure the brain of a first overall draft pick in the NHL.
No penalty was called on the ice as the 19 year old Dahlin was bleeding from his face while under serious distress as a result of the deliberate goon tactics perpetrated by Cernak.
Dahlin is a world class performer whose sick suite of skills sells gme tickets, sweaters, and merchandise.
Cernak is a fringe player. Fans don't pay to see Cernak's ilk hug, tug, and elbow in the face future Norris Trophy winners like Dahlin.

The Cernak attack on Dahlin is very similar to the Nikita Kucherov low bridge hit on Vlad Sobotka during last month's Global Series in Stockholm, Sweden.
All four mannequins in zebra sweaters missed the Kucherov scumming of Sobota.
Kucherov's reckless act forced Sobotka to the injured reserve list for 4-6 weeks.
First it was Kucherov with the cowardly low bridge hit on Sobotka. No penalty. Now, its Cernak driving his elbow through Dahlin's face. No penalty. Lightning are a bunch of hacks @NHLPlayerSafety

Kucherov skated away grom his hockey equivalent to a felonious act free and clear. Kucherov will deliberately injure another NHL opponent. Kucherov was handed a one-game suspension for boarding Columbus Blue Jackets player Markus Nutivaara in Game 2 of the Lightning-Blue Jackets series last spring.
