After being in 6th overall when they acquired Taylor Hall, the Coyotes dropped completely out of the playoffs, until the league shut down and gave them an undeserved free pass.
Feeling that things that are too good to be true must be, I assumed the NHL would rescind the offer, but so far, so good.
It's Coyotes vs Nashville (maybe) and it should be fun.

I recently named Nick Schmaltz the 17th best Coyotes player ever, and today I name Phil Kessel as #16.
Kessel may not have had a great season, but a lot of that owes to the fact that he had one of the lowest shooting percentages in the NHL.
Literally, only 4 players who played as many minutes had a lower on-ice shooting percentage than Kessel.
So he wasn't great by any means, but he actually was pretty good - just misused and suffering from some bad luck.
Still, he's clearly one of the greatest to ever wear the uniform, and remains one of my all-time favorite players.
Kessel is the 16th best Coyotes player ever.

16. The Lethal Weapon Franchise
Coming in at #17 is the greatest of the buddy-cop genre. Riggs and Murtaugh are legendary (as are the non-cannon Always Sunny sequels).
The first one - if the franchise's rep wasn't based on the sequels - is actually surprisingly gritty and dark, but the second one rebooted the franchise with a far more hilarious tone.
Either version is fine with me, even the fourth one. I don't care. I will watch Lethal weapon 5, 6, and 7, even if they actually are too old for this ___ by now.
Lethal Weapon is the best. Or 16th best, as the case may be.
