The Coyotes will host the Dallas Stars tonight and look to avoid losing seven straight to start the season.
The team hasn't been as brutal as the record indicates, but they have used three different goalies in six games, and have had to pull the goalie twice. Pulling the goalie can be fun, but no one should do it too often.
The Coyotes have got to find a way to win tonight because I read someone where that they already only have a nine percent chance to make the playoffs after their terrible start. I hope I dreamed that, but I don't think I did.
The Coyotes will go with Adin Hill again tonight and while he was great in his debut the other night, there is really no reason based on his AHL stats to think he'll be a good NHL goalie.
Anti Raanta is not ready to come back, but shouldn't be out much longer.
The Coyotes are basically in a must-win situation on October 19th. Think about that! What a crazy situation.
Unfortunately for them, the Dallas Stars might be a much better team than I suspected. They are off to a pretty great start and have way too much fire power for Adin Hill to have a hope in hell.
The Coyotes should have won the other night when he stopped 32 out of 34 because you can't really expect that from him again. Not with Seguin, Benn and Radulov ready to feast. I'm afraid this one could get ugly.
But anyways, think positive thoughts. I guess. If you want to!
