The Coyotes are in a great position.
They can beat the Predators and make the Playoffs for the first time in a decade, or they can lose to the Predators and get a one-in-eight chance at a generational player in Alexis Lafreniere.
Lafreniere is a left winger out of the Quebec League who figures to be a franchise player, something the Coyotes have long been unable to land.
Were the Coyotes to win the pick - and the team with Taylor Hall on it usually does - then they would likely re-sign Hall and be instant contenders.
Oh the fun we will have!

Clayton Keller
Maybe you are sitting there thinking that this is way too high for Keller, whose career only started, but if that is the case, then I bet you will be shocked to learn that Keller is already 14th on the all-time Coyotes scoring leaderboard.
He'd be 12th right now if the last of the season got played.
He's also played the 37th most games in franchise history.
Keller has had a so-so start to his career, and despite being crazy talented, he hasn't yet found a way to fully live up to his potential, which is massive.
This year, he was worth just under 1 WAR (@jfresh player cards) and was overall more effective than 47% of the league, but he's got to be better.
The 5v5 offense was middle of the back, the defensive was bad. He ended up being worth maybe half his salary.
So far Keller is nothing but an OK second liner, but he's 22 and he's got the potential to be a very good first line winger.
So based on a combination of performance and potential, he is the Coyotes 10th best player of all-time.

So it's back-to-back John Cusack Films, and I didn't check so I hope that's still cool (joking, who cares?).
This movie has everything: a good soundtrack, a decent story line, Jack Black, a guy who may or may not be the Dean from Community.
And guess what? Yeah baby, the book is even better! Who predicted I'd say that? (Oh, everyone?).
Either way, if you want a good soundtrack to stalk your ex-girlfriends with, this is the one.
You got Belle and Sebastion, the Beta Band.......I can't tell you how many cool bands I learned about from this movie, which I've seen about 489 times.....it came out back before you could just get any music you wanted instantly, so that was a big deal.
This is a ten star movie, but only if you own vinyl and a jean jacket. If you don't consider K.C and the Sunshine Band an important artist in the history of music, this may not be for you.
