After an up-and-down battle in Colorado that saw the Panthers get a 5-4 win over the reigning Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche, the Cats head to Las Vegas tonight to take on the 27-3-2 Golden Knights.
Florida has yet to win a game in Sin City and although the Knights have sputtered a bit, going 5-4-1 in their last 10 games, they are a strong team in the #1 spot of the Pacific Division. They have a speedy game with skilled forwards who can put the opposition on their heels. Florida’s defense will need to be ready in this one…

Hopefully the Panthers avoided the Vegas Flu and will be fully ready to go from the moment of puck drop. I haven’t seen any lineup news, but I’m hoping to see Fitzgerald on the blue line to see what kind of game he brings. With Kiersted being sent back to the AHL, I’m thinking Fitz is in.
Hopefully Bob gets the nod tonight.
