On the NHL/NHLPA Negotiations
I am told that the NHL and NHLPA are still debating the number of games that are going to be played this season. There are some teams who want to limit the loss by limiting the amount of games to 48. The official announcement likely won’t come until tomorrow.
On Zdeno Chara.
I am hearing that Chara is waiting to hear how this season will be playing out, but as long as there are no bubbles Chara is likely to return to the Bruins...
On Sami Vatanen
Vatanen hasn’t yet signed, and this is pretty surprising. One reason may be that he and the Bruins have been talking to each other and Sami would like to play in Boston. However, if Chara returns that won’t be an option...
On the Devils
The Devils are looking hard to add a winger and are confident that they can do so sooner than later...
On Hoffman and the Canucks.
The Canucks are once again talking to Hoffman about a longer deal and that is apparently where he wants to go...The question is how Vancouver can open up space, but at least one source, connected to the situation, believes this can occur (e3)
