Carey Price To Start Saturday Against Sabres + Lindgren to Laval (Lindgren)

Carey Price has been activated and will return to the crease this Saturday against the Buffalo Sabres. Price hasn't played since November 2nd due to a suspected right knee injury and the team went 4-4-2 in his absence.

Price's return means that stand out rookie Charlie Lindgren has been returned to Laval where he can still get a starters share of games in. A Niemi showed great battle and skill in his last game, 3-2 SO loss to Nashville, so he will remain on the club while Al Montoya heals up.

Lindgren went 3-4-1 with a .924 SP% and 2.43 GAA in his time filling in for Price. He consistently gave the Canadiens a chance to win and you can't ask for much more than that at the end of the day. Charlie will be in the NHL soon and let's hope it's with the Canadiens for at least a few more years. I commend Lindgren for his work ethic and ability, good on him.

SCHLEMKO RETURNS.... AGAIN.... MAYBE... FOR THE FIRST TIME...

The Young Guns rookie set are one of the most collected rookie sets all year and the Exclusives (#’d to 100) and High Gloss (#’ to 10) are always worth good money on the secondary market (depending on the rookie of course). You can find Auto’s, jersey, and patch cards in these boxes as well! Check it out!

I had the chance to crack open a Hobby box of the Toronto Maple Leafs Centennial set, as I was a big fan of the Canadiens version and I must say they did a great job from the design, subsets, and design of the Auto’d cards! Check out what I got here!

Was hoping for a Gilmour or Matthews auto for my collection but maybe next time!
