Following the games played on Sunday, the Flames big win against the Islanders pushed them further into the playoffs when all the projections for the rest of the season are done...They have passed the Predators, who now sit in 8th in the West.
In the East, the Jackets put more space between them and the Rangers when it comes to the Final Projections...however Rangers fans are probably fine with skipping the Penguins in round 1. Also, don't look now but the Lightning's favorable schedule combined with certain matchups have Tampa MUCH more close to a playoff spot than I think anyone is thinking.
