On Halak...
Jaro Halak is nothing if not a survivor. How many times has he been cast off by a team only to return with a vengeance? The Bruins, despite the firing of their coach, are a playoff team currently, and given the division they play in if they had any help from a backup goalie they would be in the playoffs with ease. Halak is tearing it up in the minors. He is undefeated in ten games with crazy numbers...the Bruins are talking to the Islanders...this rumor is VERY much an e4.
On Montreal...
They are on their break and haven't moved out their coach...so something else has to give soon...I keep hearing they have had serious talks with Colorado in regards to Duchene, but the price is truly still high. The Senators are also talking to Colorado... I keep hearing Patrick Sharp and now also Johnny Oduya tied to Montreal.. I like the concept of bringing in the pair of them and creating an atmosphere for the playoffs...
