The New Jersey Devils take on the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight in Columbus as the Devils continue their hot streak since the Christmas break.
But they will be without some key contributors.
Devils forwards, Jesper Bratt and Nathan Bastian, are now in the COVID-19 protocol as the they join Pavel Zacha, Yegor Sharangovich, Andreas Johnsson, Dougie Hamilton, and Mason Geertsen.
A.J. Greer Nolan Foote, Marian Studenic, and Colton White have been recalled from the taxi squad and to the NHL roster. A.J. Greer and Colton White will play tonight against the Blue Jackets according to Amanda Stein.
This is a tough break. But the Devils have key players in the lineup, like Jack Hughes, Nico Hischier, Ryan Graves, and Damon Severson.
“It’s like a playoff series when you play back-to-back. They’ll probably make some adjustments over the opportunities we got. We’ll make adjustments the same way,… said Devils head coach Lindy Ruff.
My Prediction: Expect the Devils to be ready and finish up this home-and-home with a sweep. 4-3 Devils
