Changes in the Projections
For there ONLY being 6 games last night it is quite remarkable what a few wrong projections/upsets can do to the standings...
Starting in the Metro... The Isles win over the Jets on Thursday, combined with the Penguins loss to the Preds last night puts the projection for the Islanders now at the the top of the Metro. This is a huge deal. avoiding the Pens or Caps in the first round and drawing potentially Columbus.
Out West...
The Preds win combined with the Blues loss to the Rangers Puts Nashville very much back in the drivers seat for home ice in round one and perhaps even the division.
The Avalanche's win over Arizona knocks the Yotes out of the playoffs in the projections and Colorado in.
The Wild victory versus Vegas was projected, so that keeps Minnesota right where they were...just outside the bubble.

Blashill Extended...
The Red Wings have extended Coach Blashill for two years. This is the right move in my opinion, although I know quite a few Wings fans are very much on the fence about his performance so far...
What do you think?
