It really sounds like four teams are driving the Ben Bishop rumors...The Lightning didn't want to move Bishop, but they are at the point right now where they can't afford to miss the playoffs more. This is not a team that many people feel are out of the race, and chances are they will make a run...the problem with that is the Lightning need playoff money and right now they are playing with fire...
Possible teams...
#1 The Blues...
Like the Bolts the Blues came very close to the prize last year and now they are also in danger of falling out before they even have a chance in the playoffs...this is also Hitch's final run. Bishop is of course a St Louis kid too...I keep hearing Hitch is pushing hard to make this happen...
#2. The Flames..
Also on the bubble, they could move a goalie the other way to help with Tampa's fear if the Lightning need a second goalie. Elliot could also be on the move...perhaps to Dallas...
#3. The Flyers...
Another bubble team (see the pattern here), the Flyers have two of their own pending UFA golaies in Mason and Neuvirth, both of whom have had moments of brilliance, but neither has been able to claim the clear #1.

The Stars have some players the Lightning like as well, and two goalies already...but Nill really likes Bishop....The Stars could also move a goalie to Calgary...
