On Patrick Kane.... Right now it is essentially a three team race...The Rangers, Avalanche, and the Devils are all leading the way. NJ might have the best offer so far. The Rangers and Devils would like to talk about a possible extension...One source tells me the Avs are not as concerned..
On Brock Boeser...
Boeser is the latest addition to the chart as it is appearing more and more like the Canucks will move both Boeser and Horvat in an attempt to make a major culture change and control their cap situation...in that order. The Capitals, Panthers, Rangers and Flyers all like Boeser a lot. The Canucks want a D-man back...Travis Sanheim?
On JvR.... JvR is a solid plan B or C for NJ, but teams interested in a power play boost are watching closely...The sneaky dark horse here is Pittsburgh...But Alsop keep close watch on Seattle.
On Gustav Nyquis.... Ken Holland absolutely loves and understands what Gustav can bring to a team. He would add a great deal in all zones for the Oilers...and he will come very cheap...
On Bo Horvat.... The Oilers want him, but I am told the Canucks are looking east...Detroit, The Isles and Rangers, and the Caps....
On Bedard... Currently Team Canada is in a hell of a Quarter Final fight against the Slovaks with a few minutes to go in the second...But the big news is that Bedard has broken Eric Lindros's Previous record for WJC points...two assists already has him at 33 points in his WJC career...
