The Avalanche will attempt to get back on track Thursday in St. Louis, but they'll need to do it without forwards J.T. Compher and Colin Wilson, and defenseman Mark Barberio.
Wilson will miss his fourth game because of the flu, and now Compher is ill. Barberio has a lower-body injury.
Forward Sven Andrighetto (leg), defenseman Tyson Barrie (hand) and goalie Semyon Varlamov (groin) might be available next week following this weekend's NHL All-Star Game festivities.
Forward A.J. Greer, a healthy scratch the past four games, will return to the lineup and defenseman David Warsofsky will make his Avalanche debut. Warsofsky was summoned from San Antonio on Jan. 11; he had 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in 34 games with the Rampage.

The Avalanche had their winning streak end at 10 games Tuesday with a 4-2 loss in Montreal.
Jonathan Bernier will make his ninth consecutive start in goal since relieving the injured Varlamov against Winnipeg on Jan. 2. He had 24 saves Oct. 19 in the Avalanche's 4-3 home loss to the Blues.
Carter Hutton will be in goal for St. Louis and forward Jaden Schwartz will play after missing 20 games with a lower-body injury.
