BAbsolutely Wrong (Blue Jackets)

Last week, Mike Babcock had a radio interview with The Morning Show in Toronto. This was a reflection piece done by the former Leafs coach on what went down near the end of his tenure.

The clipped piece getting the most hits reflects the following.

Do I like how I was talked about I after I left?

No.

Do I think I did anything wrong?

Absolutely.

The nerve to just be that stern. It’s in the past. It can be a little more open nowadays. He made a huge error in personnel management by dividing the rookies to the veterans. Hazing isn’t right to do. And it was what he did.

This is a new school of hockey minds. Younger adults. More aware. Soft? Everyone has their own opinion. Aware? Closer to the truth of the players in the league. It is a group of several hundred of the best skaters in the world that communicate with each other.

His clock is ticking and there has not been a single game coached yet as a member of the Blue Jackets due to the Toronto scrutiny. Shouldn’t be under minded. The receipt and what he did will stick to him forever, rightly.

Thoughts on his comments? Your turn, hockey world.
