The Avalanche will try to stretch their point streak to 15 games Monday when they play the Minnesota Wild to open a four-game road trip.
They matched the second longest streak in franchise history -- 14 games -- Saturday with a 2-1 win against the St. Louis Blues on Cale Makar’s goal with 40.1 seconds remaining in the third period.
The Avalanche have gone 12-0-2 since a 3-2 loss to the Arizona Coyotes on March 8.
The longest streak is 16 games (12-0-4) set in 2000-01 when they won the Stanley Cup.

Philipp Grubauer, who has played 31 of the Avalanche’s 37 games (30 starts), has matched the franchise record for a goalie with a 12-game streak (11-0-1) without a regulation loss since that loss to Arizona. Patrick Roy (1996-97) and Peter Budaj (2006-07) previously went 12 games without a regulation loss.
Grubauer has set career highs for wins (23) and shutouts (five), and owns a 1.76 goals-against average and .929 save percentage.
The Wild have won 11 straight games at home and can become the fourth different team in the past five seasons to have a home winning streak of at least 12 games.
Kyle Burroughs, who was acquired Oct. 30 from the New York Islanders for A.J. Greer, will make his NHL debut and pair with Jacob MacDonald.
The 6-foot, 193-pound Burroughs had one assist in eight games with the Colorado Eagles.

The Avalanche announced they signed defenseman Nate Clurman, 22, to a two-year, entry-level contract. He will report to the Eagles.
The 6-2, 205-pound Clurman, who is from Boulder, had seven points (four goals, three assists) in 27 games at Notre Dame as a junior this season while serving as team captain.
The Irish made the NCAA tournament but had to withdraw due to positive Covid-19 test results.
Clurman had 19 points (four goals, 15 assists) in 103 games at Notre Dame.
He was the Avalanche’s sixth-round pick (No. 161) in the 2016 NHL draft. He’s the second Colorado-born player to be drafted by the Avalanche (J.D. Corbin was selected in 2004).
